A Medallic sculpture exhibition of student
works from Prof. B. Nikolov's studio opened up on November 13 at the Sofia National
Art Gallery.
This exhibition marks the beginning of a new event for the Bulgarian medal community
- announcing the yearly student awards for medallic sculpture. The jury - FIDEM
members Prof. B. Nikolov, Emil Bachiyski and Nadia Rozeva Green gave the First
prize to Zlatin Orlov and the Second Prize to Hristina Tsonkova. Their works
as well as another 24 works by Bulgarian medalists can now be seen in the permanent
collection of the Sofia National Art Gallery.
